Description
The Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP) and the Space Needle in Seattle, Washington. Designed by the architect Frank Ghery, this distinctive building stands next to the Space Needle at the Seattle Centre, with the Seattle Centre Monorail running through it. The museum opened in 2000 and was originally known as the Experience Music Project (EMP) and the Science Fiction Museum and Hall of Fame (SFM). In fact, that was its name when this photo was taken. The name changed to the Museum of Popular Culture in 2016.
As well as being a very attractive building to photograph, the museum was an interesting place to spend a few hours during our visit to Seattle.

I visited when it was the Experience. The tower of guitars was fun to photograph. Nice to capture it with the needle.

Hey Joe, yes this photo is a few years old so it was the Experience when we visited too. Just realised I hadn't uploaded it here. Yeah that tower of guitars was fun. Great place.
