Description
A lone couple enoy the view from the top of the amphitheatre at Segesta in Sicily. This ancient Greek theatre, 400m above sea level on top of Mount Barbaro, has beautiful views across the valley below to the Mediterranean Sea at the Gulf of Castellammare. The amphitheatre originally dates from the 3rd century BC and could accomodate about 4000 spectators. Performances of some Greek dramas and concerts are still performed at the Segesta Amphitheatre during the summer months.
